For a swim in the sea, you can go with a rental car to Paradise Beach, which is sandy and organized with umbrellas and sunbeds. You can also go to the beach of Agios Stefanos located 38 km west of the city of Kos. Also in Kos, in the port area, there are several bars where you can have fun until the morning. Try your favorite dishes from the local cuisine of Kos, such as “pitaridia”. They are lasagna that are boiled in meat broth. There are several and interesting local cooking recipes made by the locals. Also very tasty are the “katimeria”, which are twisted fried cheese pies filled with mizithra cheese and topped with honey and cinnamon. Local products in Kos are the sweet tomatoes, a variety of small long and narrow tomatoes, especially sweet. The cheese of “Posas” is also remarkable, that is, goat cheese that is kept in red wine, resulting in a special taste.
From Kos, you can easily visit Rhodes. There are ships that you can carry your car or even speedboats that make the route shorter.
